What Is Keto is a free reader-supported site. Some links on this site are affiliate or partner links, meaning we may earn a small commission if you click through and make a purchase or install — at no extra cost to you.
Where this applies
- Keto Dieting app: Some articles link to the Keto Dieting app on Google Play and the App Store. The app is operated by the same company as this site (ZenApps UK / Web Print & Signs Ltd), so these are not third-party affiliate links — they are first-party promotion of our own product.
- Amazon Associates: Where we link to specific products on Amazon UK (e.g. supplements, kitchen equipment), the link includes our Amazon Associate tag (ketodieting-21). Amazon pays us a small percentage of qualifying purchases. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
How affiliate income shapes our writing
It does not. Articles are written first; affiliate links are added afterwards only where they are genuinely useful to the reader. We do not change recommendations based on commission rates, and we do not include affiliate links in articles where they would be misleading.
Independent recommendations
If we cannot recommend a product honestly, we don’t link to it — even if a higher commission is available. We sometimes link to UK supermarkets (Tesco, Aldi, Lidl, Sainsbury’s, M&S) without any affiliate relationship; those links exist purely to help readers find products.
